Ctrl Shift [ is supposed to trim the head of a clip to the playhead and ripple the clip to the left. This behavior is very helpful and it does work with video, stills or video with audio.
However it does not work as expected on an audio only track with no associated video. The head of the clip IS trimmed to the playhead, but the clip is not rippled to the left.
