Back-up Database Problem Windows 10/Resolve 14.0.1

PostSun Nov 12, 2017 4:49 am

I am on new Windows 10 machine (latest OS update) and Resolve 14.0.1. When trying to run a disk database back-up, (with only 4 projects), I get the following message after 10 minute and the database screen goes gray. Everything else is working fine and the problem occurs regardless of whatever drive I use for back-up.

Message:

DaVinci Resolve is not responding

If you close the program, you might lose information.
>Close program
>Wait for the program to respond

Thoughts?

Do you have permissions to write where you want to save your backup?
Is there enough free space?
Have you tried to do the backup by launching DR in administrator mode?

I just did the test with 26 projects (HD & UHD) and it took only ~15 seconds (writing on a SSD).

Yep ... I have permissions and have tried my SAS RAID and various other internal storage drives
68TB seems enough for 4 short films on a new system :)
I am in administrator mode.

I've tried every combo with no luck after letting it go for 8 hours. I created a diagnostic log. So, I'll call BMD Monday.
