Had the same problem on a PC. No video at all, everything was black. A clean install fixed it. On the PC it means deleting the Resolve folder in ProgramData. BM support should tell you how to clean install on Mac.

Are you using an outboard Red Rocket X card?

If so, you need to disable that for debayering in Resolve Preferences, since a Rocket X can't debayer Red Helium footage.

Is other Red footage working?

No I don't use any external card. Only Radeon Pro 460 of my macbook pro.
I try to reinstall deleting all folder in library and preferences, but nothing change. All my projects and files of redcam helium are black... Also try to install Resolve Free, but the same...

Are you using Resolve Color Managed mode or ACES?

Yes, using OpenCL works around the issue of CUDA processing and selecting RCM or ACES making the Red clips go black.

However, the OP is using a system that's already running in OpenCL, since it can't use CUDA.

If you select DaVinci YRGB, instead of Color Managed, does that make a difference?

In Resolve Preferences - System - Hardware Configuration, try setting the GPU Processing mode to both Metal and OpenCL. Do either work?

Same Issue occurred to me.

and I found what went wrong..

I've graded using IPP2.

Changed clip settings after my grading gone black.

Original goes black.
IPP2 goes black even if I change Color management modes..
IPP3 seems working but my grade changed too much. :?

Any patches?

I can chose only one, metal or open cl. With open cl black, with metal ok, work it!
But with metal is really slower the playback and other gpu effects... there's not a solution with open cl?

The new 14.1.1 release should fix this. Please give it a try and let us know.
