ACEScct 1.0.2 & Resolve 12.5.6

PostWed Nov 15, 2017 4:19 pm

Greetings all.

Working in aces on a feature film here. Still about a week away from getting color lock.

In anticipation of archiving, I want to do a gut check. I’ve heard conflicting reports. I wanted to make sure that Aces cct 1.0 .2 in Resolve 12.5.6 is really the dot 2 version of Aces.
I’ve heard it was mislabeled due to Software release/timing and that in Resolve 12.5.6 the Aces 1.0.2 is really 1.0.3.

I just want to know so when I make the flat past master archive, that if/when this ever resurrected in the future for a DCP or HDR pass that the right version of aces is used for the ODT.

Or is it negligible?

Anyone? This is most likely a Pete Chamberlain or Robbie Carman question.

Thanks.
Dario

was told it's a .2 with cct rolled in,
cct is .3, but there is also other updates in .3 that are not in 12.5.6

so yea, barring anyone smarter than me saying diffrent, it's .2 + cct

i've seen a tranparent move of cct projects from 12.5.6 (.2) to 14 (.3)

Dreamt is correct for 12.5.2, 14 should have the full 1.03,,, I think.
