No audio

I just installed Resolve 14.1.0.018 on this MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2016), OSX Sierra 10.12.16.

I can't get any audio to work. If I open footage with audio I get no levels in the meters, and no audio output, even though I can see the waveform.

My Video and Audio IO prefs are the default ones that you get when you install resolve.

same thing happened to me

check in the fairlight page your Patch input/output settings

make sure the Main Outs are attached to a Outputs of a device...

"use system audio Output" can not be checked. Is this audio system properly initialized? maybe test by setting it to 48Kz 24bit?
Do you have a BMD card that can output the sound without the need for system sound?
Before making a patch: see also with Bus format + Bus assign.
The best is to do a search in the forum for Mac User?
(Sorry I'm not on Mac but it's to test)
