Dynamic Zoom including transition

PostSun Nov 19, 2017 11:45 am

Hi there,

I am new to Resolve, previously only used Windows Movie Maker.

The learning curve is going quite well, however I have noticed that when I add a dynamic zoom to a clip, it only starts after the transition from the previous clip is complete. I would like to be able to start the zoom from the moment the new clip begins, even if it is in the middle of a crossfade. Similarly I would like to be able to continue the zoom while the clip is crossfading into the next clip.

I hope this makes sense and that I am missing something obvious.

Thanks in advance.

Do the dynamic zoom first. Then make it a compound clip, then add the transition.
