Hello.
My laptop is out of business
I have DaVinci installed and I finished some project recently. But now, it's dead.
I can't pass Media tab. I can import videos, but as soon I trying to cut imported footages to subclips, things starting. Playback starting, but after just a seconds (or after "I" pressing) video playback froze (but progress indicator still moving); then, the fan going loud, and in the task manager I can see that CPU and memory usage by DaVinci growing pretty fast up to 98%, the system going to be sluggish, which is obviously, and after some time (couple of minuted) DaVinci just disappearing without any crash messages.
I supposed that the video footages were defective, so, I tried to recode my sources into different formats, and I tried other videos I processed before without problems - the system behavior is the same, independent on video files and formats.
It's all on the DELL ALLIENWARE laptop, Win10PRO.
I suppose that it started after some DELL update, but I can't locate the source of problems. Problems started when I have DaVinci 14.1, after that, I updated DaVinci, video drivers and the Windows itself to the latest versions, no luck.
