Davinci Resolve Studio 14 does not see all disks in Ubuntu 1

PostTue Nov 28, 2017 2:42 am

Just changed my OS to Ubuntu 16.04 and have Resolve Studio 14 up and running except....it does not see my 2nd hard drive. When I installed the OS the 2nd drive (internal) had not been configured...now that it is and mounted...Resolve does not see it? Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

Hi JR,

Were you able to solve the 2nd mounted drive issue? I'm having the same problem on my recently installed Ubuntu 18.04.1 and DaVinci Resolve 15 unit. The system is a DIY PC built with the following components: Ryzen 1700x CPU, Gigabyte 370x K5 motherboard, Ballistix 16GB DDR4, GeForce GTX 1070 Ti, Samsung SSD 970 PRO 500GB drive and 2 internal 1TB SATA drives.

DaVinci Resolve seems to work ok with the primary SSD and while that's ok because rendering will be faster on there it is inconvenient when trying to locate other media not on the SSD.
