Backup/Restore DR14 project
Posted: Mon Dec 04, 2017 6:59 pmI want to take my DR14 project on the road i.e be able to connect to the portable disk drive (normally in the studio) which its stored on from a laptop. The external HDD will be taken with me.
The project material is about 5TB and quite sensitive so I don't want to endanger any material by connecting the external HDD to another PC if there is the slightest risk of 'damage'
The question is therefore how to connect to one and the same external HDD from different DV14 installations on other PC's but never more than 1 at a time.
Can anyone suggest the best practices way of doing this?
Bear in mind that the project is 5TB which makes backup/restore a cumbersome option
