No Video when opening H.265 files with GeForce GTX 1060

I purchased a GoPro Hero 6 and they now use H.265 for 1080p @ 240fps and 4k @ 60fps. I thought it was just my outdated 2 GB GeForce 640 graphics card so I purchased a 6GB GeForce GTX 1060 as I found online that it supported the new H.265 codec but am still unable to view the video, only the audio. I'm going to reach out to the GeForce community also but wanted to check here to see if anyone is using Davinci with H.265 successfully.

Hi Jean, I'm sorry but I have no idea what you mean. Do you have the same GeForce GTX 1060 card?

I believe only Studio supports HEVC/H.265. Not the free version. Video card not really a consequence.

Thanks, I just replied in that thread. Somehow I missed the notification when they replied. I didn't realize Resolve didn't support the format. Looks like it might be time for me to add Premiere Pro to my Creative Cloud account. Thank you for your help.
