Preconformed EDL and clip names in Resolve 14

I'm starting a job on a tight deadline and I'm considering working with a preconformed EDL for the first time.

The edit is done in Premiere. I rendered a master file from Premiere, exported and EDL of the same timeline. When I import the preconformed EDL in resolve, every clip in Resolve's timeline has the same name as the master file.

I want to keep the names of the original files. How can I do it?

But while I see clip names in the edit index, nothing changes in my timeline.

Also, I would like to render single clip and an XML from Resolve to Premiere keeping original clip names (rendered file names will work as well).

Can I achieve this?
