reolve 14.1.1, ultrastudio sdi, monitor?

Hi all,

Sorry to bother.

But I have a challenge. Big one.

DaVinci is updated to 14.1.1
My two GTX 1070 cards are updated with the latest driver (...what is best parallel or serial connection?)
Windows is updated to latest version

I use two monitors.
The main monitor is an Eizo CX271
The 2nd a Dell

I use the ultrastudio SDI (HDMI connection). Updated to Desktop Video 10.9.7

Problem 1:
Windows won't recognise the dell monitor? DVI cable. I tried to connect with different cables and both graphic cards.

Problem 2:
The ultrastudio SDI doesn't work? No signal/ picture when choosing HDMI on the Eizo monitor?

Problem 3:
Resolve starts up, but does not show the work window(s)? When clicking a project it opens, but doesn't show?

Has the monitor or GPU resolution setting anything to say?



Maybe you have an advice?

Have had a look in the Windows Device Manager... Monitors. Does your Dell monitor show up there?

And if you right-click on the desktop and choose NVidia Control Panel, do you see the Dell monitor there?

No, the Dell monitor does not show up in Windows Device Manager?

And neither does it show up in the Nvidia Control Panel?

Just talked to a computer technician, and he recommend me to go back two Nvidia drivers ...I'll try it

went back to driver 388.00 ...still no Dell?

Have you tried disconnecting the Eizo and plugging the Dell monitor into the port that the Eizo is plugged into?

Yes. I have tried that, but nothing but black screen.

I also tested the Dell monitor on different computer, and it worked.

When both monitors are connected, the Dell shows motherboard logo and other infos, but as soon as Windows is running, the Dell shows black screen.

Might be Windows, but I just don't see how?

And i have gone back to nvidia driver version 387.92

You don't say, but are you using the Studio version of Resolve? The free version does not support multiple GPUs.

Yes, Studio version. But went back to 12.5

The DVI input on my Dell was broken, but it works with Displayport -plug.

I installed Desktop Video 10.9.5 - so now my Ultrastudio works again.
