strange behavior copying timelines to new project

PostFri Dec 15, 2017 10:13 pm

and... importing .drp projects.

I just found that when copying a particular timeline, some of the grades changed when viewed on the new timeline. Actually, the grades didn't change, but the shots look wrong. (I noticed first the shots with smoke in the scene and raised blacks, and suddenly the blacks were clipped)

I found that finding the clip and changing the attributes from "auto" levels to "full" manually fixed the shots.

But what is strange is that all the clips are Arri Alexa LogC 4444. On a shot that looks correct, If I make the same change to the attributes,(from "auto" to "full" the shot looks incorrect.

Re-opening the original timeline, and all shots look correct when played.

I had noticed this effect when opening the resolve 12.5 drp projects in resolve 14.1, and I thought it had to do with that, but it seems, that is not really the issue here. And it's always the same clips with the problem.

Any ideas?
