Edit page bug

PostSun Dec 17, 2017 10:48 am

In the 1st screenshot note the position of the play head and timecode

In the 2nd screenshot ditto.

What has happened is that the playhead and the slider have frozen as well as the entire edit page become unresponsive.

No obvious cause, only solution is to restart

Thom, I was having some similar issues that *seem* to have gone away when I moved my video card to optimal slot. There is a best slot for optimal performance. I've heard that's usually the PCIe slot closest to the CPU. But I had misread my mobo's manual and installed the card in the x16 slot farthest away from the CPU. Rereading the manual a few times, I noticed where it explicitly stated to use a slot that was indeed closest to the CPU.

Not saying that's what's going on in your case, but just thought I'd pass it on.

Thom, given the number of issues you find that others can't repo.. can you detail your motherboard and what cards are in which slots? Someone might find something they can advise you on.
