Ramping keyframes

PostMon Jan 15, 2018 6:05 pm

I need to add a curve on the position keyframes for a still image so the re-position motion slows down at the end. I have set a keyframe at each end and at the location where I want the move to slow down, but it is not appearing in the area below the clip. It should be there right? Is it just not appearing? If I cant see the keyframe I dont know how to control the curve.

It's in the viewer when you enable the transform overlay and right click on a keyframe

Got the handles to appear to ramp the keyframes, but now the keyframe at the end of the clip seems inaccessible, being up out of view on the right.

And why is there no option to view the keyframes for the position?? As soon as I add a bezier curve to the zoom keyframes, the image sloshes back and forth because the zoom is now out of concert with the position. So I need to add a bezier curve to the position, but alas, there is no way to do this or even to view the position keyframes in the viewer. Im left having to take this image into After Effects or Fusion to do a simple bezier curve on a push into an image. Crazy.

When you enable the transform overlay for the viewer you can right click and change the options (to smooth?) then pull the bezier handle on the screen

Are you talking about the viewer where the keyframes appear and I can add curves? Because right-clicking gives me the options below. Also when selecting "position" and then adding a keyframe it switches back to zoom. When showing the position keyframes they do not appear. So anything related to position does not work in the viewer.

Are you referring to somehow getting them to appear in the source or project monitor window?

Ok I am not seeing any of those controls. Where is the option to show transform overlay options?

Thanks! Got the controls up. Is there a way to change the anchor point of the image? Still having issues getting it to move the way I want.

UPDATE:
Found the anchor point controls.

Ok I think I finally got it lol. That was MUCH more difficult than it should have been. There is still plenty of room for improvement in the intuitiveness of the transform controls.

Thanks for the help!
