Missing project file

PostMon Jan 15, 2018 7:55 pm

I'm running an older version of Davinci in a woefully underpowered system - I expect and weather through loads of crashes, but most recently after a crash Davinci can't find the project I was working on. I see the folder in the database, but don't know how to restore it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Note I am having trouble finding where to create the CaptureLog.
System specs:
CPU: Intel i7-6560U
RAM: 8.00 GB
256GB SSD
Windows 10 Home

Running version 12.5.3.014

Due to the age of the Resolve code you are using, odds of recovery of a corrupted session are not great.

If you can zip the project folder and put it on a file sharing site and provide a link to it, we can see if it's recoverable.

With Resolve code that old, you need to use Windows File Explorer and go to:

C:\Program Files\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve

And run CaptureLogs to create a Resolve log file.

You would also need to do that with current Resolve code, if it was in a state where you couldn't launch the app and get to the Resolve Help menu.
