Alpha channel bug?

PostWed Jan 17, 2018 11:42 am

Hi,

Sorry if this seems like double posting, but I have reason to believe it might be a bug in Resolve instead of Fusion.

Short story, when rendering DNxHD with alpha channel in Fusion, it does not display correctly in DaVinci Resolve, whereas a ProRes render does display correctly. At first I thought Fusion was doing something wrong, but when I load both saved files back into Fusion, it displays correct for both ProRes and DNxHD.

Kind regards,

As Ignacio mentionned on the other topic, I checked my video levels. When set to Video, it is the same result, when set to Full it is even more transparent. Then I went on to experiment with the matte, so I created a corrector node, and loaded the matte into the alpha input. then i adjusted the Key input Gain and Offset to these exact values, and then it seems alright for DNxHD.
