Timeline name in burn in data with %

PostWed Jan 17, 2018 7:38 pm

I have RTFM.
Been using DR for 3 years and now I am stuck.
I want to burn in the timeline name for preview copies.
Just the timeline name with the % option.
I know I can select rec file name but this gives me the entire path which then needs to be shrunk to fit on screen and, to some, may be confusing.
Just the timeline name.
Anyone?

AFAIK, I don't think you can, you can make a custom burn and copy'n paste the actual name...

Thanks Walter. I was afraid that might be the case.
Currently cutting 25 short timelines with different versions for approval and wanted to ensure the client was watching and commenting on the correct version.
Just one more thing to remember.

Yes timeline name should definitely be a burn-in option. I was dealing with a similar issue and found that setting the file name of the deliver page to automatically equal the timeline name made things pretty clear for the client.
