Nothing showing in Editor windows.

PostThu Jan 18, 2018 12:57 am

I just installed 14.2 studio version on my iMac. Suddenly both windows in the editor section are not showing anything, also the Media section is not showing me anything I play in the preview window .

If I switch off my Ultra Studio 4k (which connects to my external monitor) everything is showing again in the editor.

Is this a bug ?

Turn off your scopes and the picture comes back? It's the reason I've stayed on 14.1

What OS? What type of source files? Which specific iMac?

Yes Jamie, that solved it. Thank you. Now they just need to fix it so I can switch on the scopes also while editing with Resolve connected to Ultra Studio 4k

My advice would be to not try to work with H.264 files, and instead convert them to ProRes first. I bet those will show up in the Media Pool and will work just fine.
