"could not find any CUDA capable GPUs" Nvidia GTX 1080 ti

PostSun Feb 04, 2018 10:18 pm

Hi there,

Is there anything special I have to do to get DaVinci Resolve to run on my machine? It's a brand new build with Windows 10 Pro 64 bit, i7-7820X, 64GB RAM, with the Nvidia GTX 1080 ti.

According to Nvidia GeForce Experience, I have the latest driver (390.77). Did I just miss something showing that this driver is not compatible or did I miss how to configure my system?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thank you,
Stephen

Had same issue all of the sudden, Davinci Resolve would not recognize the GPUs, just downgrade your Nvidia drivers to the latest from December.
390.77 is a faulty driver

Similar message for me too; I'm running an NVIDIA GT640 card, driver version: 340.52, CUDA cores: 384. Will DVR15 run on my set-up? I'm actually only looking to use the Fairlight DAW, but it would be nice to have it all working.

Forgive me - updating the drivers cured it... Sorry to take up space!
