How to upgrade to latest version?

I currently have Lite v8. If I need to upgrade to Lite v9, do I first uninstall version 8 and then install v9? If not, when I install v9, does it keep all my current projects and settings intact?

You must uninstall V8 first, and then install V9. All your current projects and settings should be maintained. You should certainly back up your database first, before installing V9, just in case you need to go back to V8 for some reason.
