Prevent nodes/grades from applying to multiple clips

PostTue Feb 06, 2018 5:25 pm

So I have several instances of the same original raw clip throughout an edit of a video I am grading with Resolve, but when I apply a node (or do any sort of edit, bypass, etc.) it affects all instances of that clip. Is there any way to prevent this behavior? Or is this a glitch? If so, any sort of workaround to at least get this project done without redoing all work in another program? This is making Resolve totally unworkable for me.

iMac (27-inch, Late 2012) running High Sierra 10.13.3
This has happened on DaVinci Resolve 14.1.1 and continues even after updates through 14.2 and now 14.3

Thanks in advance!

This is the normal 'Remote Grade' operation.
You need to right click on the color page thumb and select 'Local Grade'.

Details in the manual.
