DaVinci Resolve 14 keeps crashing

Hello there, just downloaded this video editor and I face 1 annoying problem.

When I open Resolve and try to open or create a new project, it just closes and says "Resolve has stopped working". As i'm stuck at the screen there so I'm not able to provide the string version (Sorry about that), but my PC specs is in my signature.

You have far too little RAM. Plus, W8 is not officially supported, but you may get away with that.

Then how much RAM I do need? I can buy new RAM if needed. Also that's unfortunate it doesn't support W8
