Rendering problem

PostTue Feb 27, 2018 3:12 pm

I've been trying to export a 13 minute video now for 24 hours and still have 15% more to go. Ridiculously slow, so there must be a problem. Al I did was color grading but not many effects. The source footage is in H.264 and ProRes, and I'm trying to export it as DNxHR. The first 2 times I tried exporting it crashed after a couple of hours, but this time it progressed fairly quickly up to 75% but then it's taken more than 12 hours to advance another 10%. I don't know what could be the problem, I'm holding on to hope that it won't crash before it's done. Please, help! I don't know what to do.

If you have space, dump dpx for the render, so you can restart at any point in timeline.

Then from that you do your final.
