Setting to toggle Key Output to Key Input behavior?

I understand that there’s an automatic setting so that when the Key Output of one node is fed into the Key Input of another node, the key is automatically inverted so as to be a convenient way of creating an “outside node.”

However, sometimes, I really do just want the key from one node to be the actual non-inverted key into another node. Is there any way to toggle the behavior, either on a project level or system level?

There isn't... Just what Peter wrote

But you can just add 2 outside nodes and ignore the first ;) nodes are free

I would love this feature. Perhaps holding down shift while connecting your nodes key output and input would work. And shift / add outside on the panel. Plus a menu / right click “add inside” command.

It would be nice to have an "invert node key" keyboard shortcut. I don't mind clicking a few more times when doing what Seth is talking about because I don't do that particular function very often. But what I do do very often is add vignettes and the like. It would be nice to hit one shortcut to invert, and not have to use the mouse or go through a couple menus on the Tangent.
