After quitting DaVinci Resolve in a Dual Screen mode, when the app is started with only a single screen, the UI will not fill the screen, can not reset until second screen is attached

Note: this is about UI screens, NOT the playback screen connected to Intensity

Steps to reproduce:
1. Start Resolve with two screens attached
2. Workspace > Dual Screen > On (This implies Workspace > Fullscreen)
3. Workspace > Primary Display > Display 2
4. Quit Resolve
5. Detach second screen
6. Start Resolve (Resolve is in Full Screen mode but does not fill display)
7. Workspace > Reset UI Layout (Can now resize to fill screen minus dock)
8. Workspace > Full Screen (Resolve UI disappears)

This is happening to me as well. Have you found any way of fixing this without reattaching a second screen?

That bug is such an occasionally recurring pain in Resolve 14.3 here.
I always found I had to reset the user interface, then Save project+restart Resolve.

1. Try clicking on the MEDIA page tab, to reveal the MENU Toolbar, then navigate to...

2. WORKSPACE > DUAL SCREEN > ON
and ensuring that the checkmark does not appear to the left of "ON". If it does, click the "ON" label to switch it off.

3. then navigate to
WORKSPACE > RESET UI LAYOUT

4. Save Project
5. Restart Resolve, and return to the project.

I assume that you have to have the second screen plugged in to be able to click dual screen on?

This is still happening in v15 unfortunately...

Hi guys, I resolve this bug by change the monitor resolution to a lower one, then when I started Resolve they ask me if I want to reset the software layout to fit the new screen resolution.
