Possible Bug in DaVinci Resolve inspector window

After installing DaVinci Resolve (windows version 14.3.0.014) on my HP Spectre 360, most features work fine, but not the Inspector window. Where the section titles should be, there are only elipses ...........

The same was true for version 14.2 (I installed the new version to see if that problem was fixed).

The button to turn on dynamic zoom in the inspector window is missing also. I can use the crop and regular zoom features, but on playback, the area is not expanded to full screen. I can send a screen shot, but don't know how to attach it to this post.

Please read: viewtopic.php?f=21&t=69837 - capturing logs and offering more complete system information would be the best way forward.

Please also try invoking "Reset UI Layout" from the Workspaces menu to see if it makes a difference. What is your screen resolution set to?

Thanks for the suggestions, Shrinivas. Unfortunately, resetting the UI layout did not help. I am running at 2560 x 1440 resolution, but I tried other lower resolutions and it did not help. I'll try to capture the logs.

Thank you, Shrinivas, for your suggestions. The "Reset UI Layout" did not help, unfortunately. My screen resolution is 2560x1440, but I have tried lower resolutions and they did not help either. I'll append the log information to a separate post.

It looks like you only have a HD Graphic 520 GPU which I feel will not be powerful enough for Resolve use.

Although the GPU may prove to be inadequate, the static screen appearance is not a GPU-intensive activity. It seems unlikely that a bug in the screen appearance would be caused by an under-performing GPU. Resolve doesn't have any problems appending videos, coloring or rendering which are GPU-intensive activities. Hmmmm

I am having the same exact issue. This makes it impossible to use a handful of different parts of Inspector. It isn't "....." that which seems like dots is actually the letters of the words being cut off at the top and the bottom. Everything in Davinci works just fine for me despite my subpar system. This has so far been the only known issue for me.

Thanks, Dylan. Its nice to know that I'm not crazy (at least about this). Your explanation (bottom of cut-off words) makes more sense to me. What computer are you using? I am curious if this is specific to HP Spectre. Jay
