DaVinci Resolve Crash

PostTue Mar 20, 2018 4:41 pm

Greetings all, just downloaded DR last night with excitement to get going on some projects which have been sitting around. I can start up the program, start a new project and walk away, no problem. As soon as I add some files to the project it will crash within a few minutes, no matter what I do. I can move on to the editing tab, or just have it sit there, and it will crash. I've searched through the forum here, and the Oracle that is Google, and tried a few things but to no avail (changing virtual memory paging stuff, etc.). Any ideas?

"A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."

DR Version: 14.3.0.014

HP Pavilion running Windows 10 with:
AMD A9-9410 RADEON R5, 5 compute cores 2c+3G 2.90 Ghz
8 gigs ram

I think Resolve is not going to work with your AMD APU in that laptop.
