blue in vertical blanking

PostThu Apr 12, 2018 9:03 pm

I have a DeckLink 4K Extreme and Windows 7 with Resolve V12.5.

I upgraded Desktop Video from V10.5.4. to V10.9.12. The DeckLink card is now filing the vertical blanking interval with 350 mV blue signal measured in RGB. In 1080psf 23.976 this is lines 0-41 and 1122-1125.

I'm have observed the same thing on a Mac with Desktop Video V10.8.2.

Of course, this anomaly is not visible on the display, but it does show on my external scope. This makes it very distracting when coloring in Resolve. Unfortunately, my Videotek/Harris VTM scope does not seem to have the option to blank the VBI.

Is there a way to blank the VBI in the DeckLink card's SDI output or otherwise remove this anomaly?
