Resolve Shared Database - Odd Performance

PostWed Apr 18, 2018 4:16 pm

Using Resolve 14.1.1 on a shared database.

My assistant and I are working in the same project. She is in a different timeline than I am (each timeline is in its own bin too). She's having no issues editing or working.

For some reason, the timeline I am in will turn locked while I'm using it and I cannot make any edits. I am the only one in the timeline.

She is on MacOS 10.12 and I am on CentOS 7.

On my system (CentOS) general navigation is extremely slow when we are both in the same project. When she is not in the project I can work just fine.

Any suggestions for collaborative workflow solutions?

Maybe this is something that was addressed with 14.2? I see some notes in regards to collaborative projects in the white paper. I'll try this in a few weeks once this project is done.

For now we've split the project into separate projects for each reel and disabled collaboration.
