Edit page: Save transform preset?

PostSun Apr 22, 2018 9:23 pm

Is there a way of saving a transform preset in the edit page?

Seems pretty basic but I couldn't see a way

Posting Beta 15 issues in the Beta 15 forum would be more productive.

Feels to me like a feature request, rather than a bug, but happy to post there if it might make R15.

Would be nice to have. Especially if it could be a ratio thing, where it would recalculate x and y position as well as scale. Often times, I have to rescale scale and position for an entire conform. If I had a preset ratio between my source footage and the offline footage, it would save me countless hours of time conforming.

Hey,
Not really sure this could satisfy you and your workflow, but it seems to me that this great idea would be even better when done inside the Fusion panel now...
Now the question is : what may be the best choice to kind of backup this as a permanent node, like for example a sort of power bins for Fusion nodes...

You can do that by right-clicking and 'Settings | Save As' but that would be cumbersome and would reduce real time performance.

Would be useful to convert simple transforms etc from BL Edit page to Fusion page (and/or to Color page)

I was writing about saving a specific node which would include any resize/transform/ptzr you'd like to (that's to say without having to re-define these infos), that you may append to the tree whenever and wherever. needed.
Not sure Settings > save as could be useful here...
