Vocal Channel - Compression Threshold

I have just started using the new FairlightFX tools for a current production and so far i love everything that was added in DR15!

I have a question about the Vocal Channel tool.

I read the manual (New Features Guide) but couldn't find if the Threshold is 'hard' or 'soft' knee.

Could someone from BMD clear this up? Thanks in advance!

All the Fairlight Compressors appear to be Hard Knee.

Judging from what i hear that would be my take as well. I hope BMD can confirm this so we know for sure.

This is an old question, but...
Just noticed that DaVinci Resolve version 18 has a "Knee" setting in the compressor (double click "Dynamics" box in FairLight). Increasing the value softens the knee.
Just what *I* wanted.
