Title Compound Clip Transparency

PostMon Apr 23, 2018 7:04 pm

Needed to turn a title clip into a compound clip to apply effects for some animation to the text but the title lost the transparency. Couldn't figure out how to keep the transparency and searching the forum did not find anything. Is there a way to do it or that's just how it is?

This is a limitation that was corrected in V15.
The workaround in <14 is to use Screen in your Composite Mode (Inspector)

Thanks for the reply Hector!
V15 FTW!
I have tried the screen composite mode but didn't work completely.

With V15B02, I will focus on the use of TEXT + or Fusion title and go directly to the FUSION tab.
A bit disorienting at first but so powerful and without problem for the effect for transparency.

The investment in learning time is largely amortized for the future. (< 1mn pour a simple Title :?: )
