Bulding a Resolve on a Mac Pro Early 2009

PostSun Apr 21, 2013 9:25 pm

Hi,

I'd like to build a Resolve for grading HD 1920x1080 content (and BMD Pocket Camera in the future) on a Mac Pro Early 2009 quad-core 2,66hz with Mountain Lion 10.8.3 with 4x4 Go of RAM.

The only graphic card is, at this time, the Nvidia GeForce GT120 in PCIe - Slot1.

What second graphic card do i need to buy for GPU ?

Do I leave the GT120 in Slot 1 for GUI ?

Thank you for your help.

Regards,

Thomas

Hi, please review the config guides we publish for Mac. They are at the top of the post thread.

Yes. I saw it.

But this configuration guide is a bit out of date because new GTX graphic card are now on the market with thousand of CUDA cores.

I'd like to know what is the best solution for now.

Regards,

Thomas
