optimized media really work?

PostWed May 09, 2018 10:10 am

Hi,

It's not the first time that i have the impression, that after generating otimized media, checking that they have been generated and checking "use optimized media if available" , they are still not being used.

How could I check, if the optimized media are really used instead of the original media?

Thanks a lot in advance!

It works for me. I use optimized media when the source media is to heavy to play back smoothly. I can tell from the response on the timeline if the clips are optimized or not. You can also add a bin column info called "optimized" or something like that. Right click on the bin header and select it from the contextual menu.
