Hi guys,
I have a small issue with my editing, that causes me a headache. I haven’t found a solution yet but maybe some of you more experienced users can point me in the right direction:
Here is the situation:
So, I have set up a bunch of keyboard shortcuts to speed up my edit. I am mainly using “timeline: split clips”, “ripple delete” and “ripple edit”.
However, ever so often, when I make an edit using “timeline: split clips” the clip isn’t really split at the same position: The (linked) video and audio track have a separate cut in two different positions, instead of the same position (see Screenshot).
I can’t seem to find out why that is or how to fix it. Any ideas? Am I using the wrong tools? Isn’t “split clips” the same as the Razor tool?
Would be great if someone could point me in the right direction. Thanks for the help!
PS: I have used Resolve 14.x and 15, working on Windows 10.
