anyway to download DaVinci 14?

PostSat May 19, 2018 11:12 pm

I just downloaded the newest version from a few days ago and I think I have found a bug.

When I click on the timeline zoom buttons, it functions properly. In the following video you can see me click on the zoom 3x and see it function as it should. However, when I try the same function with the hold ALT + wheel scroll, instead of the same increments of zoom, one wheel scroll = 3 of me pressing the zoom button on timeline zoom buttons.

is there anyway to download DaVinci 14?

thanks

Ok, I found a way to download former versions (go to support). But has any one else had this issue with the mouse scroll zoom function?

I'm seeing the reverse behavior. I have to scroll six times to match the zoom level of 3 clicks of the Zoom buttons over the timeline.

I'm not opposed to this behavior, though.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

that would be great! things have changed a little since I posted last. First of all, you cannot install previous versions of DaVinci one you have a recent version on your computer. So, that left me with staying with the current version. When I have video just by itself, the behavior is as I described it in my first post. However, when I add audio, then it acts "normal" i.e. 1 click of the zoom button on the timeline = one scroll of the mouse.
