Dolby XML issue

PostTue May 22, 2018 3:12 am

HI there.

we recently we did not pass QC on a xml generated by resolve.
(show colored on PULSAR, resolve 14.3 full licensed with CMU, Linux centos all the good jazz. 4000nits HDR pass, 100nits trim and 600 nits trim on CMU)

the error can be narrow it down to a couple of clips that did not have analysis. Once you're exporting dolby XML, it flag that event a L0 0,0,0 data with no L1 (IIRC).
That pass the [dolby metafier verify] tool: data "exist" but it is plain invalid: that is a dolby issue that we already identify with them.

so, what we need in the resolve is:

in the [smart clip filters] having a selection for
[dolby analisys {true/false}]
[dolby 100nits trim {true/false}]
[dolby 600nits trim {true/false}]
[dolby 1000nits trim {true/false}]
[dolby 2000nits trim {true/false}]

so we can identify the clips that does not have analysis or trims for the expected target.

Thanks!!
