Cannot import XML files from FCP X 10.4.2 into Resolve 14.3

FCP exports XML 1.7 and 1.8 files.

At first try I got an error saying DaVinci Resolve only supports 1.3, 1.4, and 1,5

On the web I read it supports 1.7

So I exported an XML 1.7 file.

DaVinci Resolve 14.3 wouldn't accept it. Not even an error message. I just get an empty project without the imported file.

Is FCP X no longer compatible with DaVinci Resolve?

Don't ask me why - maybe it was because I applied the power of Black Magic and crystal balls - but suddenly I got the import window and could import the film in XML 1.7
