Davinci Resolve Working with baked edits

PostWed Apr 24, 2013 7:28 pm

I have done a pass of my edit with neat video, baked it and brought it back into final cut pro x, re-cut the footage as per the original edit, and exported to XML.

In Davinci the cuts all show up fine, I can select them as if they were as individual clips, and the project is referencing the single baked clip.

What I need is to be able to color correct each clip individually, or rather separately color each part of the baked clip. What happens at the moment, when I make a change to one clip, is it affects every clip (or rather all of the baked clip instead of the part I have selected).

I assume there is an easy fix for this, some box I haven't ticked etc. but hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.

Thanks.

On the Color page, right click a thumbnail and select "Use Local Grades".
