Embarrassing Real easy one .jpeg

1st time poster. I'm sure that many will follow

When 1st entering DaR under Media Import it list my folders and file names but it doesn't slow the still it only displays the file name.If you drag it down to the timeline it still doesn't show a picture ?

Maybe make sure your still really is a .jpeg. I drop jpeg files into my timeline frequently and they display just fine, both in the media pool and the timeline. Check your file extension and also check to make sure the image opens in a regular image viewing app.

Here is something to try...

Above where it should show the list of jpegs there is an icon of a magnifying glass. To the right of that is a '. . .' icon. Click that, then click 'Show Individual Frames.'

From a quick survey from other DaVinci users it appears that something has gone very wrong during the installation of this software. I think the best thing to do, at this point, is to reinstall the software.
