Hi. Let´s say I have a clip at 25fps which I want to conform to 24fps for making a 24fps DCP, but I want to keep the frames' total as it is. I go to the pool media and change Clip attributes from 25 to 24. Everything's ok so far, now the video is 4% longer.
But when I insert that clip in the Timeline, the audio goes out of sync, like it's still playing at 25fps, while the video plays at 24.
So, then I have to go and unlink video and audio on the Timeline, select Audio only, and do a Change clip speed to 96%, Stretch to fit, with Pitch Correction checked.
Is there a less circuitous route to achieve the same results, kind of automatically?

Create another project with 24fps, add all 25fps clips (do not confirm change project settings) and use File -> Media Management -> Transcode.
After that reconform first project.
Is this a good option?

Sergey, I tried the Transcode route you suggested, but now unfortunately the 24fps and the 25fps version have the same duration, so the total frame count is not the same.

So conform all your clips to 24 FPS under Clip Attributes.

Hi Uli. I know that works, except for the audio, that stays at the same speed. The only way after that (AFAIK) is inserting the clip on the timeline, unlinking video and audio, selecting audio, Change Speed and enter the correct percentage, and that takes care of that. Which is what I was trying to avoid.
