I think it should be applied to text tool too.
Stroke is only present as a "centered" one. With this type, a stroke happens equally outside and inside of text. If you add a lot of stroke it makes your letters thinner.
With "outside" method, the stroke happens only outside of letters leaving them in original weight.
In some cases extreme stroke is needed to make text stand out from the BG. And now in Resolve we can't achieve it.
Below the comparison of:
1. Huge outside stroke created in AE
2. bigger stroke created in Resolve.
I can't achieve the stroke look I did in AE with Resolve unfortunatelly. And it's not some kind of quantum science here.
Stroke types can be found in many graphic applications and I think it should be found in Resolve as well.
