Feature request in version 15

It may seem like a small thing, but when I import XAVC-I files from my FS7 into the media, the clips are jumbled up. I might get 1, 5, 6, 3, 7, 2 instead of 1,2,3,4,5,6,7.

It is a small thing, but it would be nice if the clips were sorted in order when uploaded into the bin.

Along the same lines, having a sort menu there would be great so I could group files by name, sequentially by number, date or type.

Hi,

There already is a menu to sort files in a bin, look for a small button on the top right of the bin, it looks like two triangles with a line in between, and if you click it, a menu pops out where you can sort the media in your bin.

Greetz!
Nick

If i drag clips directly from explorer to the timeline
they also get unsorted.

Same bug was in v14.

Can this be fixed?

This doesn´t make any sense. It´s like somebody has programmed it to put the files in random order!

The workaround is to put them in the media pool first.
