Scene Cut Detection - out of sync

PostThu Jul 19, 2018 9:18 pm

Hi, I'm new to Resolve.

I made a Scene Cut Detection to a clip with 24fps. I add the cuts into Media Pool and after into Timeline, but the sound is out of sync for these new clips.

When I add the original clip into the same timeline, the sound of this clip is synchronized. I don't understand where is the problem because Timeline framerate and Playback frame rate for the project are 24 fps.

I would compare the original uncut clip and the split clips on adjacent video tracks and see what the issue is.

I have seen cases where if you don't have the Prefs -> Standard Still Duration set to 1 frame, things can get off sometimes when the scene cut detector creates multiple 1-frame clips.

There is zero shift when you use the scene cut corrector correctly, but it takes some finessing.
