fitting image into another using pitch, yaw?

PostSun Aug 19, 2018 6:21 pm

i just had to do something i'd been very familiar with in old versions of final cut but had not tried with resolve and had a very hard time with it. i had to make an image appear to be projected onto a wall (series of images, actually). i had to skew the image to match the wall's perspective, then duplicate the image and skew it differently for a floor reflection. in the past i'd have used a distortion tool and simply dragged each corner of the image to the position i wanted it. i didn't see this as an option with resolve and it took a long time for me to balance the variables of pitch, yaw, and x/y dimensions to get something acceptable. i never did get what i wanted but was able to get something that passed. is there a tutorial someone knows of on doing something like this in resolve?

thanks,
G
