Fusion effects mess up my scale to resolution

PostMon Aug 20, 2018 10:43 am

Hey there,
I want to make my video in a 2:1 (2.00) aspect ratio, so I set the project settings to a resolution of 3840x1920 + input scaling: Scale full frame with crop. Everything works fine, the video gets scaled properly, but as soon as I add any fusion effect to the clip, I get black borders on the left and right sides of the video (see the attachment). To me, it seems like Fusion is trying to fit the entire 16:9 clip into a 2:1 video, which causes those black bars.

Has anyone ever met with this problem? What can I do to fix it? Thanks.
