Project Import Crashes Resolve

PostSun Sep 16, 2018 4:41 am

I have an old project I'm trying to open up and Resolve begins to open it, gets all the way to 99% and then crashes. I've even tried exporting it and Resolve crashes on export. I've tried importing an older project version as well.

Mac OSX 10.13.6 Resolve 15.1

Not to revive an old thread but I've been working hard on a video lately and when I was importing stuff from another resolve project as an .fcpx file onto the one I was working on, resolve started acting funny. I saved the project after importing the other one and once I saved it, it crashed immediately. Ever since then, I've tried troubleshooting it by updating Resolve from 15.2.2 to 15.2.3 and it still wouldn't open. I've also tried exporting it as a .dra file and a .drp file yesterday and both resulted in a crash as well. Is it possible that I've made my file unaccessible? I'm fairly new to Resolve but if anyone asks if I had a backup, I didn't know about autosaves and backups until yesterday. Please let me know if you have any ideas or ways to fix this problem.

Not sure if this will work but can you move or rename the folder that contains the imported footage to see if you project opens up with the files offline?
Thank you

Ok, I've tried moving it out of the folder it was in and I renamed it. After testing multiple times offline, I was still getting the same crash result. Is there possibly any other way of being able to fix it?
