Hang on launch "Looking for control surface"

PostMon Sep 17, 2018 3:32 pm

Hi,
I wanted to learn davinci resolve. and before buying the studio, I wanted to check the lite version. However I cant seem to be able to run it. On launch, it gets stuck on where it says looking for control surface.

I searched on the forums and couldn't get it fixed. As suggested I am attaching log files.

My computer specs

intel i7 8700

intel UHD 630 graphics

16GB Ram

Please help
THank you

Hi. Thanks for the reply. I am not sure if it does. And if it does, how do I manually force it? Isn’t that from resolve preferences? I can’t launch it

I managed to fix this by updating my graphics drivers. But I have some other problems which I made another post for.

Thank you so much

Maybe for other users that have similar problems it may be interesting to tell from what version to what version you updated which drivers.
Tnx
