Disable node while working but still render it?

PostThu Sep 20, 2018 8:58 am

Hiya,
Is there a feature to disable a node, but it is still always on while rendering the project?

I have some film grain plugins that are both slow and annoying when I am working with masks, but I keep forgetting to enable them when render.
For 3d programs like 3ds Max this is a pretty common workflow.
Best,

For heavy effects, you could consider caching the node as a possibility

Thanks for the tip.
The problem is that the noise is the last node in the whole composition so if I cache it it will not save performance when I am working on nodes earlier in the tool chain. In this case I work on masks earlier in the chain.
